I've wanted to make a rosette book page wreath since I saw the one at Under the Table and Dreaming. Then via pinterest I found a book page wreath embellished with bats at Vacuuming in High Heels and Pearls. I loved them both so I made a similar one.
You can find a great tutorial for making the book page rosettes at Under the Table and Dreaming.
The bats were hand punched and then I pinned them to the foam wreath.
My pins had a silver head, so I used a black paint pen to color them.
After Halloween I can just pull the pins out and embellish the wreath for the next season or holiday.
Happy Crafting :)

that turned out beautiful, it's simple but beautiful. I love the black on white look and I'll bet it can easily be changed to accommodate any holiday.
oh I love this idea. I don't think mine would turn out so perfectly but I LOVE IT!
Cleverly done! Love the "swirl" of bats. Easily adapted to other times of year, too. Nice job.
How cute that you added those bats! Adorable! I know how time consuming those book wreaths can be, so props to you for making it look effortless! I would love to have you share this @ Show & Share!

I love this beautiful wreath. I am loving anything made with book pages these days, and this is gorgeous! I think I will make one to hang all year round, (without the bats) and maybe color just a few of the roses. I am posting a photo and link to this project on my blog. I hope you'll check it out. http://www.bygeorgeyouvegotit.blogspot.com .
