The ladybug caught the crafting bug a long time ago. When she sees me getting supplies out she asks, "Are we gonna do a craft?" So it's no surprise that she enjoyed designing these notepads for her Nana and Grandma for Mother's Day.
Here's what we did...
First I folded a plain white sheet of printer paper into fourths.
At the bottom of each of the four sections the ladybug drew a picture or wrote a message. Since our printer is also a copier, I copied the original onto colored printer paper. I printed about 25 sheets (which will make 100 sheets in one notepad).
Then I used a paper cutter to cut the printed sheets into fourths.
Then punch two holes in the top of the sheets.
Thread a pretty ribbon through the back and tie in it the front.
The ladybug liked seeing her work turn into little notepads.

Very cool idea, I have been after Brad to buy us a new printer that's also a copier, scanner, etc. Sounds like this is a cheaper way to make notepads like this than taking them to a copy store to be copied and prettier too with the tied ribbon.
This is such a great idea. I love them.
what a cute idea :)
