Apple cupcakes for back to school

Don't these look so cute?

When I saw these in Family Fun magazine I knew I had to make them before preschool started!

Their cupcakes look so pretty, don't they?

Today Ladybug and I made a batch of our own...

I think they turned out pretty gosh darn cute.  If I had red cupcake liners they would have looked even better.  All that really matters is that Ladybug loved them.  They were quite yummy.

The stems and leaves are molded out of tootsie rolls!  I had no idea you could mold them so easily!  

Yum!  It was a fun way to celebrate the start of the school year.
