Book Page Wreath (Embellish for any holiday)

I've wanted to make a rosette book page wreath since I saw the one at Under the Table and Dreaming.  Then via pinterest I found a book page wreath embellished with bats at Vacuuming in High Heels and Pearls.  I loved them both so I made a similar one.

You can find a great tutorial for making the book page rosettes at Under the Table and Dreaming.

The bats were hand punched and then I pinned them to the foam wreath.

My pins had a silver head, so I used a black paint pen to color them.

After Halloween I can just pull the pins out and embellish the wreath for the next season or holiday.

Happy Crafting :)

  3. Cleverly done! Love the "swirl" of bats. Easily adapted to other times of year, too. Nice job.

I think I will make one to hang all year round, (without the bats) and maybe color just a few of the roses. I am posting a photo and link to this project on my blog.
