Pennant cake or pie topper

You know I love a cute pennant...so I had to make one to top a Thanksgiving pie.  I think it's adorable!  Now I'm hooked and I'll be making tons of these.  The hubby will be having nightmares of mini pennants taking over the house.  But it's okay, because I think they're adorable.

How cute will that look on top of a Thanksgiving pie?!  Each triangle is double sided.  I kind of cut a diamond,  folded it over the string, and glued it shut.   When the colored bakers twine I ordered comes in I'll be making more.

  8. Oh my goodness! I love this on the pumpkin! Perhaps I'll make one & convince my grandmother to put in on a pie when I go up for Thanksgiving. I was planning on using this tutorial for my birthday cake this year. I might have to make it earlier.

Great post, Popping by from C.R.A.F.T.
