Paper Snowflake Art

Remember THIS paper patch?
Well I wanted to make another one that would last through the winter, not just Christmas.
Here's what I came up with...

I used some music sheets for a few of the snowflakes.
For the rest I used different shades of blue papers.

Crafting with music pages

What can you do with Christmas music pages?  Like book pages, they're just so inspiring!  Here's what I've made so far with my stack of pretty music pages...

Make some pretty little birds for embellishing gift packages...

decoupage some glass ball ornaments for gift giving...

I think I might use some of the music pages to make tags or scrapbook pages.

ahhh, I love creating.  On rough or sad days creating something pretty somehow takes the edge off.  Of course a little slobbery kiss from one of the munchkins does the same.  Life is good when you are surrounded by pretty little things and cute munchkins.

Hope you have a happy Thursday full of pretty little things and slobbery kisses!

December Layout Decor

I'm loving all the great ideas at the catwalk this week!  It's still open, so you still have time to link up and check out all the inspiring ideas!

In the meantime, I've finished my December layout.  I've been making a scrapbook page each month.  I put them in a frame and use them as decor during the month, and then I use them for our family scrapbook when that month is over.   Find the October one HERE and November HERE.

I've been going with the square theme for each of them.  Using that format allows me to use a lot of different papers and embellishments on one page.  And we all know the embellishments are the best part : )

Craft Catwalk and Features {no. 7}

Thanks to all who linked up to the catwalk last week!
Here are a few of the great finds...

Check out these CHALKCLOTH stockings at Yesterday on Tuesday...

A seriously cute altered tin mini album from Cherished Treasures

Vintage Wanne Bee made the sweetest headband I have ever seen!

Sustainably Chic Designs made a vinyl stocking hanger.
I'm always looking for new ways to hang stockings in our mantel-less home!

Now it's time to link up!

Link anything you made or created.
This is a great way to get some blog traffic, some comment love, and maybe even some followers.
Some things to remember...

1.  Please link to the post you would like to highlight, not your main blog.
Only family friendly content, please.
It's okay to link to a blog post of something you made and are selling, but
please do not link directly to any shops.

2.  Please visit at least 2 of your fellow party goers, and leave a little comment love.

3.  Please grab the Craft Catwalk button and add it somewhere on your blog
(a text link is fine, too)
